An LSMOC winter classic - Brunch Runs
​​
The bacon smell is in the air, which can only mean one thing. Yes! The return of LSMOCs famous Brunch Runs.
​
Each Brunch Run is slightly different, with a new route each time, taking you from Greater London out through the countryside, avoiding main roads where possible - only the start and finish stay the same.​
We aim for the drive to take approximately 50 minutes (Traffic & Conditions Depending)​​
You don't need to register or pre book to join us, you can just turn up on the day!

Every year the LSMOC organises the ‘Donut Run’ a special winter version of the London to Brighton Mini Run with donuts for it's members.

Anyone wishing to take part must pre register. Pre registration is simple, secure and free.
This run is a fantastic chance for everyone to meet lots of new people, join around 100 Minis all participating and of course have some delicious donuts!
There are no rules…apart from abide the Highway Code… it’s just an informal event.

Bringing together Minis of every variety, from early Austins and Morrises, Wolseley Hornets and Riley Elfs, through the iconic 1960s Coopers and popular 1970s Clubmans, to the last-of-the-line classic Mini Coopers and even modern-day MINIs, there will be something for every Mini fan at the event.
The theme of the 2023 National Mini Day will be 60 Years of the Cooper ‘S’. Celebrating the 60th birthday of this motoring icon, the central display of the rally will be dedicated to this iconic car.

LSMOC Outer London Bridges Tour
TBC 2024​

The London Bridges Tour is back again for it’s 18th year, but with a change of route from our previous trips!
From Kew Gardens, as always, but we now head to Windsor and Runnymede.
No ULEZ charging and some lovely driving in the 38 miles over the outer London Bridges.
We go at a leisurely pace and there are ample opportunities for us all to stay together unlike in Central London.
Meet at Kew Green at 9am for a 9.45am departure.
Bring a packed lunch and some change for the parking in case we change our final parking place due to overcrowding. A map of the route will be given out on the day and a few cars will have the route downloaded onto their sat navs.

Mini Moments MIni Day
24th June 2024​

2024 will see the 60th Anniversary of a Mini Cooper winning the Monte Carlo Rally for the first time. To celebrate the momentous achievement The Community Brain, a not-for-profit based in Kingston, with other interested organisations are planning a number of events for the year based around the old John Cooper garage in Hollyfield Road, Surbiton, KT5 9AJ, which we hope you might be interested in participating in.
Saturday 18th May will be a Mini Celebration. The Hollyfield Road will be shut, and we would like to gather around 150 vintage and modern minis to display themselves along the road. It is our ambition to have a Mini Cooper representing each year from 1964 to 2024 alongside the classic iconic 60’s minis. Prior to the display, there will be a Mini Monte drive around the area for those Mini cars that wish to participate.
There will be entertainment in the form of young bands reinterpreting the hits of 1964 (and the 60s) as well as showing the original Italian Job. In addition, there will be guided tours of the ex-Cooper garage and design rooms. We hope this will be a fun day to highlight the innovation and design of the Mini Cooper as well as mark its Monte Carlo.

Brooklands Mini Day

All types of Mini are welcome to join us as we celebrate the iconic Mini through the ages.
Bring your beloved Mini to this event, from the oldest to the newest (including the modern BMW models) you will be able to park your pride and joy around our historic site.

Brands Hatch Mini Festival
4th August 2024
The annual Brands Hatch Mini Festival returns in August 2024 for another full day of pocket-sized motoring action from the UK’s favourite small car! The iconic vehicle will be celebrated both on and off the track.
On the circuit itself, there will be door-to-door racing action from classic Mini Miglias, Dunlop Mini Se7ens, Mighty Minis, Mini Se7en S Class and the popular “Fastest Mini in the World” race. At the end of the day, once the racing is done, hundreds of modern and classic Minis will take to the track for a special Mini parade.
Around the venue there will be big displays of all the best-loved Minis, both old and new, surrounding the legendary Indy circuit, plus an extensive trade area.
